The Subaru WRX is an all-wheel drive sport compact automobile produced by Subaru. It is based on the Impreza, which was designed for the World Rally Championship in 1992.[1] Subaru claims the WRX acronym stands for "World Rally eXperimental." Since 2014, the WRX range has been separated from the Impreza, with the standalone Levorg model introducing a distinct body shape that is not available as an optional hatchback/wagon.
